The final weekend of the school holidays saw the inaugural U12 Jelly Belly tournament played at MISH.  We ran the event – which saw 21 teams battle it out for top honours.  Huge thanks to the many Harbour players and families who made it all possible and helped it run so smoothly.  Among the highlights – the opening ceremony where Atlantis and Wasps teams won the hotly contested banner competition.

There was some exciting polo played and in the end Marist Rebels took out the A grade competition with Harbour Seahorses in second and the Harbour Octopus team coming third. Our own Darcy Spark was MVP girls for the A grade.  

Mountford Park Matai won the B grade – followed by Waikato Water Rats in second and North Harbour Swordfish third.  The Harbour Sharks did extremely well too and came 5^th in the B grade. Mountford Park Kuru took out the C grade title with the Harbour Alligators second and the Seawolf Cubs third.  Harbour Player George Berry was MVP for C grade. Our Penguins also had a great weekend.

The whole tournament was  a huge success and watch this space for next year. We can confirm that Jelly Belly are all signed up for 2018 and beyond.
